The #dtseczpeople series continues with Nadina from Bosnia-Herzegovina. Two years ago, she moved to Brno and worked for Lufthansa before joining DTSE CZ.
I say DTSE; you say…?
Do you remember the first day with us?
Everything was new, and many people were just trying to help but the amount of information overwhelmed me.
What do you like most about DTSE?
I like the people here. They are all very helpful and friendly.
One thing you like and dislike about your job
I like my team; they are great, but I don’t enjoy accounting closings. :)
What is the best memory of DTSE so far?
My best memories so far are from team buildings and the international brunches. These are a lot of fun.
Can you think of a DTSE-related anecdote you would like to share?
I’m still learning Czech and it sounds similar to Bosnian, so I sometimes mix the languages. Once I was in the elevator and one person was asking if it’s going up. I wanted to answer no it’s going down, but I said naked ass in Czech instead.
As a child, what did you want to become?
I always wanted to be an artist.
Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Hopefully successful and happy.
What is your motto?
“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.”
Who is your role model?
My parents are the people who inspire me the most.
What is your favorite Guiding Principle?
I both like Team together–Team apart and Best place to perform and grow. I really enjoy working in teams so anything team-related is great.
Where would you go if you could time-travel?
To ancient Egypt. I like to explore, and I like the oriental culture and history.
What’s your favorite place in Brno?
My favorite place in Brno is the Lužánky Park. I’m normally not a nature person, but this park is just so beautiful. It’s very green and has these tall trees, so it’s very picturesque.
